Why I Won’t Follow You Back On Twitter

Follow Me Back Please?

This is a little bit of a different post to the rest of the ones I’ve put out there recently – so I’ll keep it short and sweet (maybe not so sweet). This is all about my favourite social media platform twitter. I’m sure that you’ve seen me mention my love for the site, and I still do have a lot. However it all feels a little bit of one up manship these days, fair enough you may want to follow me, but don’t get pissy and unfollow an hour later when I’ve not followed you back. I’m A Loner Dottie, A Rebel – The Apprentice Season 10 Begins

The wait is finally over, and The Apprentice has returned to our screens! I’ve stated before why I love it so much, and having a longer wait due to the world cup begin a potential clash was a mixed blessing, but I’d rather have some good watching on a cold evening if I’m honest. How To Get A Job In Digital Marketing

When I hit 18 and was in my last year of A Levels I didn’t have a clue what I really wanted to do with my life. I’d just bombed out completely in AS Levels and had to resit EVERYTHING. Just because you mess up one year doesn’t mean that’s it there’s always a chance t do something about it, or do something else if it really isn’t for you. I didn’t go straight to Uni, I messed about worked in a pub, enjoyed life. I can’t say I regret having a great time with my mates, but this was before I discovered that a ‘proper’ job was more for me. Continue reading

What Is Digital Marketing?

I’ve been working in digital marketing for a while now. One thing that is clear, is that a lot of people don’t really understand the premise of what I do. Someone will ask me what I do, I say ‘digital marketing’ and often this is met with a blank look or ‘is that where you ring people all the time? Doesn’t that get a bit soul destroying?’

Why Is Social Media Important To Your Business?

One thing that a lot of people know of, use and often have a favourite of, is social networking sites. (Yep, this is another one of those ‘grown up’ posts again – although I’m actually starting to like them!). Social media, is simply a group of websites with the intention of social networking. This can be business, personal or a mixture of both!
